Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce our new partners to the firm, Robert J. Foley, Michael P. Mazanetz, and Patrick J. Moro. They are joining our current partners, Joseph A. Moro and Richard L. “Pete” Magill, in leading the firm.
Robert J. Foley is the firm’s chief litigator. With his practice focused on workers compensation, he is a passionate champion of underdogs seeking just compensation for work-related injuries. He joined Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co., L.P.A. in 1998, after graduating from the University of Akron School of Law and receiving his J.D. As a lifelong devotee of martial arts, Foley brings a well-honed fighting spirit to his work on behalf of clients.
“Only by constantly exposing myself to those who are better than I, have I been able to improve.” Foley said. “Becoming a partner in a firm that has, for many years now, inspired me to become a better lawyer, a better advocate for injured workers in need, is a true honor.”
Michael P. Mazanetz is the firm’s leading Social Security Disability attorney. To Mazanetz, the greatest professional reward comes when a client’s long wait for Social Security Disability benefits comes to an end with a decision in their favor. He joined Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co., L.P.A. in 2008, after graduating from the University of Akron School of Law and receiving his J.D. He is an assistant coach in his hometown for the Newton Falls High School Tigers varsity basketball team.
When asked what it means to become partner Mazanetz replied, “I’m very excited and honored to become a partner at HMMM. The retiring partners cannot be thanked enough for their vision and doggedness that helped build HMMM into a well-respected, hard-working law firm. I look forward to working with the existing and newly-named partners to carry on that legacy.”
Patrick J. Moro’s practice areas are extensive, ranging from workers compensation, employment issues, personal injury, and criminal defense. “Every win for a client is a tremendous achievement. We don’t take this lightly. We fight a lot of battles on a daily basis and I am happy that I can share that success with a team that has the same passion,” Moro says. He graduated from Capital University Law School and received his J.D. in 2012. He then joined Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co., L.P.A. in 2016. Prior to practicing law, Moro was a business consultant. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, woodworking, and the outdoors.
When asked what it means to become partner Moro replied, “I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to become a partner at HMMM. I look forward to continuing the firm’s reputation for aggressively pursuing and defending the rights of our clients.”
