Since 1985 Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co. LPA has been committed to protecting the rights of injured workers, injury victims, and the disabled. - Established as a corporation of the State of Ohio in 1985 by Rush Elliott, Bob Heller, and Steve Maas as a firm dedicated to workers’ compensation and social security disability. These attorneys had previously been associated with a local law firm and brought their experience in workers’ compensation and social security disability to the newly established company.
- In 1987 Attys. Joe Moro and Pete Magill were employed as associate attorneys and later became partners – Atty. Moro in 1992 and Atty. Magill in 1993.
- In 1992 Atty. Doug Ames became a part-time associate of the firm while still working at General Motors – Lordstown as a member of UAW #1112 full time, later to become a full-time associate when he retired from GM in 1998.
- In 1994 Bob Foley joined the firm while attending The University of Akron School of Law and became an associate attorney in 1998 when he passed the Ohio bar exam.
- The firm has maintained its present Austintown location since 1987, but offers local convenience to our clients with satellite offices in Warren, Salem, Akron, and Ravenna.
- Heller, Maas, Moro & Magill Co. LPA currently has a staff of 20 employees that assist our attorneys. Twenty-five percent of that staff have been employed by the firm in excess of 10 years.
